If I detached myself

from things that bring me stress,

Like change, which I can’t avoid

or things I want but cannot afford,  

If I also began to love without expectations,

Accepting that people change,

Then I can pick up this lanturn,

and guide it over the bridge,

I'll have a glow in my stomach,

When I get to the end
